LAHORE: For the first time, it has been decided to provide the facility of video calls to the prisoners in the jails of Punjab province. According to IG Prisons Mian Farooq Nazir, inmates of the jails of the province will now be able to make video calls to their loved ones. Mian Farooq Nazir has said in this regard that this project will be started from the jails of Lahore, every prisoner will be allowed to call on five WhatsApp numbers, but the prisoner will have to save the numbers of his relatives in the database first. . According to IG Prisons Punjab, each prisoner will be allowed to make video calls on five specific numbers, each prisoner will be given specific time for video calls. Mian Farooq Nazir has said in this regard that it has been decided to allow video calls as well as international calls to the prisoners.
